Drag Brunch at Lona Misa

Lona Misa is a plant-based restaurant attached to Ovolo South Yarra in Victoria. I undertook the creative challenge of crafting a variety of assets to promote a drag brunch event. This encompassed designing striking printed posters, digital signage, eDMs and captivating social media assets.

Whilst adhering to Lona Misa’s brand guidelines, I infused the essence of drag makeup onto the timeless face of the Mona Lisa, and aimed to mix classical beauty with contemporary audacity.

The results exceeded all expectations, as the campaign generated an overwhelming response, leading to a swift sell-out of the event. Its immense success transformed it into a beloved and eagerly anticipated recurring event.

Through innovative design and creative vision, we not only promoted the event but also elevated it to a status of lasting cultural significance, where the intersection of art, performance, and gastronomy thrives at Lona Misa
