Dreamtime is Tourism Australia’s major incentive showcase held bi-annually. In 2017, it was held in Brisbane with a focus on futuristic technology and innovation. I worked with the Business Events Australia team to develop a logo to reflect this and incorporate inspiration from bioluminescent sea life.
The Dreamtime logo from 2015 was redeveloped, but retaining a similar structure so it could be easily identified. The vibrant blue was chosen to reference bioluminescence and neon hi-tech lights. The squares symbolise pixels and the varying shapes in a spiral were to symbolise the dynamic and fast paced nature of technology.
