Responsive Desktop and Mobile Website
As part of my recent studies in User Experience and Web Design, I undertook a portfolio project where I designed a responsive website for a fictional non-profit organisation. The aim was to address the mental health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and provide information on self-care practices.
To create the website, I conducted generative research to develop personas, which helped me understand the target audience and their needs. I also performed usability testing, created customer journey maps, and conducted surveys, including card sorting and tree jacks, to gather insights and improve the website’s usability.
Using the research findings, I designed a prototype in Figma, an interface design application. The website’s layout and functionality were optimised to ensure an intuitive and engaging user experience, with a particular focus on accessibility and responsiveness.
Overall, this project provided me with valuable hands-on experience in user research, design, and prototyping, which I can leverage in future projects to create effective and user-friendly digital products.
